Search by participant
The standard search forms are usually set to search for offers. Click on Participants in either the large search form on the home page, or on participants in the mini search form on the left side. After this single click, you’ll see the home page again, but this time the word Participants is in bold face.
If you know the nickname of the participant you whish to search, just enter the nickname or a part of it. You can also search for a city by entering a part of that name. As a final option, you can enter any keyword which the participant may have entered in his plan, i.e. his personal free text he wrote to let us know what his plans are.
After you hit the search button, the next screen shows the results. If any, they look as follows:
Participant Summary
This participant, whose nickname is ichnaton, has uploaded an avatar as a funny image. He has written a free text called ‘plan’ which is hopefully making any sense. On the right, beneath the words Balance RGB, you can find the current balance of this participant. In the example, the balance is R 100 G 100 B 100. Refer to the section on prices to grasp the meaning of this.
Beneath the word Details, you will find the current location of this user (i.e. Glastonbury) and a link called Location. This link points to Google Maps, holding a search for the zip code of the users profile. If no zip code has been entered, the link is omitted.
The system can not check for the correctness of this data and neither for any proximity of the City to the entered zip code or the google maps result.
In the lower right corner, there is a small image of a baby and a date. This is this user’s start date at this system. Note that date formatting currently is DD-MM-YY. This may be changed in a later version of this system.
The participant’s ads
After you have clicked on the participants name, you will see his profile. In the left top of this screen are several links. If you are currently not logged in, you will only see the links Ads and Balance. Click on the link Ads to see the participant’s ads. This result list will probably differ from an ad list after a Search by keyword.
